The Programme Content Group has held its first meeting. Dr Nicola Williams has kindly agreed to chair once again and the group would to know the key topics of interest to the community. Please spare a few minutes and complete our quick survey here.

The HRA want to know your thoughts on research transparency
The survey is aimed primarily at researchers, sponsors and funders, but is open to anyone with an interest in the transparency agenda. You are encouraged to be completely honest.
The survey is due to close on 28 September. If you have any queries about this please contact hra.comms@nhs.net.
PRIORITY II – what are the 10 most important questions to you for retention to clinical trials?
The PRioRiTy II PSP now has a list of the 27 questions about methods of retention to clinical trials that were important to people, from the original survey.
They are asking those who design and run trials, as well as those who take part, to choose the 10 questions that are most important to them in a short survey.
The survey will close on 14th September.
Regulatory & Policy news:
Government advice on how medicines, medical devices and clinical trials would be regulated in theres no Brexit deal.
The Dept. of Health & Social Care has published advice on a no-deal Brexit
MHRA preparation for exiting the EU including an update on the Clinical Trials Regulation during the implementation period
A letter from Ian Hudson CEO of the MHRA has been received, outlining several pieces of information, which aim to provide some clarity on how the MHRA are preparing for exiting the EU. You can read the letter here.
This information includes a published update on the Clinical Trial Regulation during the implementation period.
Teresa Allen is appointed new HRA CEO
Many congratulations to Teresa Allen who has been appointed as the substantive Chief Executive of the HRA. We very much look forward to continuing to work closely with the HRA and Teresa in the future.
