Over 370,000 people register to Be Part of Research

Over 370,000 people have now signed up to the new UK-wide registry service from the NIHR’s Be Part of Research. The new service makes it easy for people to find and take part in suitable studies across the country.
The large-scale registry provides researchers with access to research-ready volunteers, offering the potential to accelerate recruitment to studies. A growing number of studies have now used the Be Part of Research registry service to recruit participants into studies and over 3,000 people are confirmed to have enrolled in a study to date as a result of being matched via the service.
Volunteers can now sign up on the Be Part of Research website, using the NHS App, or using their NHS Login (England and Wales only). People are then sent information on studies that match their interests.
