Engagement Tool supporting sponsors to meet Terms and Conditions for NIHR CRN support

Back in December 2023 NIHR CRN launched a new Sponsor Engagement Tool, designed to enable sponsors and their delegates to easily provide regular study assessments and update their study data. This in turn helps sponsors and study teams to continue to comply with the Terms and Conditions for NIHR CRN support.
Since its launch the Tool has been accessed by over 290 unique users with over 1200 assessments have been provided. The team has received feedback about additional functionality and improvements that would be helpful and will be making a plan for further development. Additional comments are welcome and should be sent using the feedback form. The form, user guide, FAQs and other supporting materials are all available on the NIHR Learn site for Sponsor Engagement.
This Sponsor Engagement Tool is part of a wider programme of work (Springboard Transformation) which will better enable the CRN to oversee data for studies on its portfolio, and in turn, provide DHSC with a clear view of portfolio activity and ensure that CRN support and NHS support costs are directed to support studies appropriately.
