With thanks to the over 600 people who took the time to share their expertise and insights, the report describes whether it became easier or harder to deliver clinical research in 2022 and 2023, what the top priorities for policymakers across the UK should be, and how the past 18 months impacted the workforce’s morale and future career plans.
As well as the present report, findings were used to develop Longer, better lives: A programme for UK Government for cancer research and care, a plan to help the future UK Government transform cancer research and care. The recommendations for the UK clinical research environment can be found on pages 54-61. Read here: https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-us/we-develop-policy/manifesto-for-cancer-research-and-care
