NIHR Clinical Research Network publishes annual stats

The NIHR Clinical Research Network’s annual stats for the 2023/24 financial year have been published. The new data also shows more than 1 million participants took part in research supported by the CRN over the year. This year, more people than ever had the chance to take part in research on their doorstep, thanks to a huge increase in primary care providers delivering CRN-portfolio studies (a 12% point increase from last year). There was also a significant increase in recruitment to CRN-supported commercial studies.
