Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals access to Principal Investigator status
Date: 27 September 2021
Calling all Research and Development Managers in England!
Background:
On behalf of NIHR 70@70 Senior Nurses and Midwife Leaders, we are asking you to complete the following short survey about Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHPs) as Principal Investigators (PI) in clinical research, the survey should only take a few minutes. We are interested in identifying NHS trusts which support NMAHPs to take on the role of PI and offer training to support this.
The survey is available here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSddmzCgfZIWAta8dxR56DsnV_oH2uJ-Z39HYKqZgc5CCEdQvg/viewform
What do I need to do?
Please could you share this link across your research nursing and midwifery workforce and encourage all eligible staff to participate? The survey is intentionally short, with dropdown lists and will take 3-4 minutes maximum to complete. It is important that every research nurse and midwife participates and that they are only counted once, therefore, we are encouraging every individual to complete the census themselves.
We would really appreciate your help to complete and return the form as soon as possible but no later than Friday 1st October.
