The NIHR are delighted to announce that the NIHR Associate PI Scheme Educational Event will take place as follows.
Date: Thursday 30th November 2023
Time: 9:00am until 12:30pm

The event is aimed at Health and Care professionals interested in learning more about the Associate PI Scheme. The scheme is a six month in-work training opportunity, providing practical experience for healthcare professionals starting their research career. What will be covered at the virtual Associate PI Scheme Educational Event?
- An overview of the Associate PI Scheme – How to register and what’s involved.
- An opportunity to hear about the Scheme from a variety of perspectives; Alumni of the Associate PI Scheme, National Study Teams, Industry Sponsors, and more.
- Learn about the latest Associate PI Scheme developments, including the incorporation of Commercial studies.
- Hear about further NIHR learning opportunities, including the newly launched Principal Investigator Pipeline Programme (PiPP) for Research Nurses and Research Midwives.
