Personally – my 2 daughters, now 24 and 26, flown the nest with a life, jobs, boyfriends they enjoy and thrive on. Professionally, still after all these years getting listened to locally and nationally about the importance and influence of research and importantly the growth of primary care research (where I started my research management role 23 years ago)
You are stranded on a desert island – what one item you would take with you (book, album, luxury item)?
A comfortable bed – I can cope with most things in life if I can get a good night’s sleep
What do you enjoy most about being a Trustee?
Just being able to represent the vast R&D community and make a difference collectively with all my fab trustee colleagues
