RECIST Reporting Study Event: Friday 24th April, 2026, 09:00am – 13:00pm

The NIHR invites you to join us for a virtual RECIST Study Day on Friday 24th April, 2026, 09:00am – 13:00pm.

We will be discussing the challenges around accessing timely imaging to assess tumour response in cancer clinical trials and hearing from teams who have developed innovative approaches to solving these challenges. The meeting will be of interest both to investigators who are delivering cancer clinical trials, and to colleagues in radiology departments with responsibility for clinical trial imaging.

Co-organised by the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, Sheffield University Hospitals, Clinical Trials Centre at Weston Park Cancer Centre (NIHR RDN), and the NIHR RDN Coordinating Centre Specialties and Settings Team in Leeds.

Target Audience

  • Radiologists, clinicians, research nurses, radiographers and industry representatives involved in providing/ utilising tumour measurements in clinical trials
  • Research network, professional and commercial organisation representatives involved in cancer clinical trials
  • Radiographers interested in upskilling and/or providing local tumour measurement service

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the current bottlenecks in clinical trials, including the provision of tumour measurements on imaging across the NHS and discuss potential solutions.
  • Update on RECISTtrial measurements research service provision across the NHS.
  • Review of RECISTand iRECIST, including case-based learning.

CPD

  • This course will provide 4 CPD credits in accordance with the CPD schemes of The Royal College of Radiologists and The Royal College of Physicians.
