The NIHR Industry Engagement and Commercial Trials Delivery Plan (2026–2028) sets out how the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) will restore predictable delivery, national accountability and system credibility for commercial clinical research in the UK, strengthen the delivery of industry-funded clinical research across the NHS in England and support a coherent and competitive UK offer to global life sciences companies.
