NIHR UPDATE: How research is improving women’s health

Women make up 51% of the UK’s population. While they generally live longer than men, they often spend more years managing health conditions.
The NIHR is funding and delivering inclusive research to improve women’s health and care at every stage of life. This includes closing gaps in knowledge of conditions such as endometriosis and ensuring women are better represented in research.
