NIHR Industry Hub support for the NCVR changes

Dr. Maria Koufali, Life Sciences Industry Director, has shared an update of the support the NIHR Industry Hub will provide to support the NCVR changes:
The NIHR Industry Hub will provide dedicated national operational support to ensure successful implementation of the enhanced NCVR process. This includes a centrally coordinated Single National Sign-Off team comprising a national lead, specialist costing support, six pharmacy reviewers, three medical physics experts and a dedicated business support function. In addition, 12 Industry Managers embedded across the Regional Research Delivery Networks will work alongside lead sites and local teams to coordinate rapid set up, resolve barriers rapidly and share learning nationally. Working in partnership with colleagues across the devolved nations, the Industry Hub will provide a single point of coordination for sponsors and sites, supporting consistent implementation, reducing duplication and helping to ensure that studies move efficiently from costing and contracting into delivery. Throughout the initial implementation period, we will provide targeted support where required, enabling continuous improvement while maintaining momentum and sponsor confidence.
