Applications open for the NIHR Senior Research Leader Programme

Applications are now open for the NIHR Senior Research Leader (SRL) Programme, a funded opportunity for nurses, midwives, allied health professionals and pharmacy professionals to develop their research leadership and strengthen research capacity and capability across England.
For the 2027 cohort, the programme will also welcome pharmacy professionals, with the additional aim of increasing commercial research activity within their organisations.

The programme supports the NIHR’s ambition to develop a diverse and inclusive research workforce across professions, geographies, settings and backgrounds, helping to ensure research career development opportunities are accessible to everyone.
