Changes to the UK commercial costing reference group

The format of the cross-sector group that oversees the costing tool content and functionality is changing. The new approach will mirror the Four Nations Contracting Leads approach, with a core membership across the NIHR, HRA and Devolved Nations co-opting specialists relevant to the focus topics. The new approach will enable broader input from across the research community, more in-depth considerations and support the new coordinated operations for commercial studies. This supports the UK Clinical Research Delivery priority to “Develop and mandate an efficient streamlined UK-standardised commercial contracting process”.
