This Symposium will explore all the latest in innovative research designs and some of the practical implications of management and sponsorship. In support of the Life Sciences strategy and Industry Sector Deal 2, the NHS R&D Forum has committed to supporting the R&D community in responding to a planned increase in innovative research designs, and how best to enable this in a health and care setting.

This event will look at the challenges, benefits and experiences of running novel study designs in health and care. We will also consider how we can best respond as a community from the research leadership, management, delivery and impact perspectives.

This will be a great opportunity for members of the Forum community to meet with experts and peers; to think outside of research as we ‘usually’ know it to be, and to ensure we are at the forefront of being able to support new ways of doing research in the near future.
