Working Group Update – Contracts Working Group – Multiparty Collaboration Agreement Template

The RDF Contracts Working Group have completed their work on the template collaboration agreement and it will be published on HRA (IRAS), ARMA and ALUP websites, hopefully also NIHR. The template is not mandated by NIHR or HRA, however will be flagged by NIHR and HRA and devolved nations as a suitable template to consider using for non-commercial grant funded projects e.g. NIHR and charities.
The template is designed to complement the suite of existing Brunswick agreement templates on the ARMA website and model clinical trial agreement templates on IRAS website. They are for academic/NHS research collaboration projects which include a clinical study. There are optional clauses to choose for NIHR grant funded projects and alternative optional clauses which can be selected instead for other funders, as appropriate. The aim of this template is to help speed up and streamline contracting on research collaborations. It does not replace the OID or mNCA which is between sponsor and sites.
