Sage Gateshead is an international music centre and renowned conference & event venue located in the North East of England.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the River Tyne and Newcastle Gateshead Quayside, the award-winning glass-fronted music venue, designed by renowned architect Norman Foster, boasts faultless acoustics in its range of halls, rooms and studios.
You can walk to Sage Gateshead from Newcastle Central station within 20 minutes (0.7 miles), or we’re less than 10 minutes (0.6 miles) from Gateshead Metro station. Alternatively, enjoy a stroll along Newcastle’s Quayside and across one of the historic bridges over the River Tyne. Remember, we’re on a hill so the last part of your walk here will be uphill unless you walk across the Tyne Bridge or High Level Bridge.
Plan your route by using the map at the bottom of this page.
